Same for me - confirming that you haven't got a broken download, or a problem at
your end.

same here too.
i looked at the patch file,doesn't seem to be a trojan,but i an no expert.
i recomputed digests and emergeing gpm worked.

I'm not sure what it's giving a wrong digest for the patch but I'm looking at
the patch and it's the same I have here on my box orginally.

Could it be that some mirrors have an older copy?

I'll attach my copy to this bug if you want (it's only 847 bytes compressed).

styx has already updated the digest (don't know why he has done)

digest seems to be fixed at this point and patch appears safe
