net-analyzer/zabbix-server-1.1 
needs fping to work an setuid set on /usr/sbin/fping 
user must be prompted to chmod u+s /usr/sbin/fping, or no machines will be monitored.

I'm think need only information user. If suid not set zabbix can't handle icmp & icmpsec item. Others item supported.
