The way Java is handled has been drastically changed. Please make sure you have followed all the steps at: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/java/java-upgrade.xml Need to know if you've followed the upgrade guide. You put me to the update page which i did not find myself. After following the instructions, ant-core compiled. For me, the problem remains how i could have avoided that unnecessary bug report. The ebuilds i re-emerged before reading the update instructions did not have a pointer to the update, so it would be helpful to include such an "error" message. On the other side, i think that it is not possible to add to every single ebuild that has java in its dependencies a pointer to the update page ... |
