Moved from cvs to svn repository.
Removed dpmod, because all the other directories would have to be pulled in - it can have its own ebuild, if wanted.
Commented out the SDL audio sed, because it adds audio crackling. I recommend OpenGL instead.
Why make_desktop_entry is called only when "cdinstall" USE is enabled? I think to always make a desktop entry: if the n00b user doesn't enable that USE, doesn't read the emerge logs, doesn't install manually the pak files and sees that the menu entry doesn't seem to work..... he merits to be slayed by Chton and/or Shub-Niggurath ;-D :P Created attachment 116154 [details]

Just rename the ebuild to darkplaces-20070707.ebuild, and you can be battling the evil hordes of Satan's evil, satanic, erm, neighbour. Presumably, 20080808 will be "Satan's long-lost cousin". Currently the "cdsound" use flag also disables the ability to use ogg files for music. This is not immediately evident to the end user. I don't know if there is a way to selectively disable cd sound without disabling ogg music support. To improve the sound latency when compiled with SDL, I use: sed -i -e "s:20.0:50.0:" snd_sdl.c darkplaces up to 20090128 *** Bug 141800 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** new snapshot is out : 20090709 let's hope ebuild bump is enough. modified ebuild in portage. |
