A number of bugfixes in the 1.9.x series, but notably 2.0.0 was rewritten for GTK2.

Yes, same here! Shouldn't this be somehow attached to bug 122337?

It's the portage version that has this incorrect digest. The ebuild in bug#122337 doesn't install the docs package.
