!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

Possible solutions:
1. Upgrade the x86 stable to a newer version (the problem doesn't exist for imagemagick-6.2.8.0

2. Patch the coders/png.c (replace the depricated png-function calls). Similar patches were released for gimp-1.2.*.

I am not sure if anyone is reading those bug repports. When I get a reply in under a minute there is something going on:

I have been experienced the problem for a week now and I have been waiting to if any solution will come, bacause of a similar harsh responce to similar problem concerning gimp (the gimp was finally upgraded to 2.2.12 after that).

1. The problem *exists* on a completely (stable) 20min. ago synced system.
2. The described problem concerns the now stable libpng-1.2.12 and not libpng-1.2.10 from #136452

If anyone is able to document a successful build for media-gfx/imagemagick-6.2.5.5 (stable) against libpng-1.2.12 (stable) on a "stable" system, I am willing to stop sending libpng related bug reports. (similar problem exists for x11-misc/xvidcap-1.1.3-r3).

Best regards
  Simeon
