Did you try to remerge Emacs? Did you run revdep-rebuild? Which version of Emacs?
Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-09 08:49:38 UTC
Remove RgbPath line from your xorg.conf
Comment 3 Ralf Behle 2006-07-09 09:10:41 UTC
The emacs version is 21.4-r3. I have remerged emacs several times, but have not tried revdep-rebuild. After removing RgbPath from xorg.conf everything works fine.
