Description:

CDNavigator wants to index all your photos, music, etc and store the tags in a database.

I havn't used it (yet) but I would have given it a try were it in portage ;-)

Personally I don't feel competent enough for creating ebuilds for non configure-make-install packages and thus my suggestion.  The INSTALL file tells to just call a contributed shell script for installation.  The program depends on java and ships with several java libraries.  I haven't checked possible legal involvements.

No progress here for 1 year; closing WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen with an ebuild.
