Description Georgi Chulkov 2006-07-04 16:22:03 UTC
I tried to emerge openoffice with openldap unmerged.

[ebuild R ] app-office/openoffice-2.0.3 USE="cairo firefox gtk java kde mono pam xml -binfilter -debug -eds -gnome -ldap -odk" LINGUAS="bg en_GB -af -ar -be_BY -bn -bs -ca -cs -cy -da -de -el -en -en_US -en_ZA -es -et -fa -fi -fr -gu_IN -he -hi_IN -hr -hu -it -ja -km -ko -lt -mk -nb -nl -nn -nr -ns -pa_IN -pl -pt -pt_BR -ru -rw -sh_YU -sk -sl -sr_CS -st -sv -sw_TZ -th -tn -tr -ts -vi -xh -zh_CN -zh_TW -zu" 0 kB

I ended up with:

checking whether to build LDAP configuration backend... yes
checking which LDAP SDK to use... OpenLDAP
checking ldap.h usability... no
checking ldap.h presence... no
checking for ldap.h... no
configure: error: ldap.h not found. install openldap libs
make: *** [stamp/build] Error 1

!!! ERROR: app-office/openoffice-2.0.3 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1545: Called dyn_compile
  ebuild.sh, line 940: Called src_compile
  openoffice-2.0.3.ebuild, line 250: Called die

!!! Build failed

In my opinion, app-office/openoffice should depend on net-nds/openldap, or some other LDAP implementation (whatever LDAP may be).
