Dear Sirs,

You graced as with an ebuild for moodle 1.5.3.
http://svn.gnqs.org/projects/gentoo-webapps-overlay/browser/experimental/www-apps/moodle/moodle-1.5.3.ebuild?format=raw

May I humbly request one for Moodle 1.6?

It does not seem too complex as moodle bascially lives within its own directory. It has its own upgrade script that does any required upgrades to the database tables etc, so in the final emerge notes you could have:

"If this is an upgrade then run http://localhost/moodle/admin substituting localhost for your domain name"

Thankyou very much.

------------

P.S.

Another idea for the future would be to have ebuilds for all three provided versions of moodle, Like the emacs and emacs-cvs ebuilds:

moodle - Latest Release - Moodle 1.6
http://download.moodle.org/download.php/stable16/moodle-1.6.tgz

moodle-fix - Latest Release with daily bug fixes - Moodle 1.6+
http://download.moodle.org/download.php/stable16/moodle-latest-16.tgz

moodle-dev - Latest Development Nightly - Moodle 1.7 dev
http://download.moodle.org/download.php/moodle/moodle-latest.tgz

But maybe I am dreaming a bit there, but moodle is becoming an important piece of educational software, competing with the proprietary VLEs, and it would be nice if Gentoo had the best Moodle support of all the distros.

Thanks for reading.
