Attempting to migrate from monolithic Xorg 6.8 to Xorg 7 per documentation on gentoo website.

Hardware is P4 IBM Thinkpad G41.

When emerge reaches package xorg-server-1.0.2-r7, dies with error message

"
checking whether to build Xdmx DDX... checking for DMXMODULES... yes
configure: error: Xdmx build explicitly requested, but required
		              modules not found.
"

If I can provide any additional information, or have improperly formatted this report, please let me know. I'm just learning this process.

(I'll be attaching several logs, including the output of emerge --info)

emerging libXrender as noted in comments for bug #136640 seems to have fixed this.
