After upgrading to x11-base/xorg-x11-7.0-r1, /etc/X11/xkb still points to ../../usr/lib64/X11/xkb, which no longer exists.

Nothing we could do here, that's how CONFIG_PROTECT works. It doesn't exist any more (moved to /usr/share/X11/xkb) - just delete it.
