ipkg-utils-version_bump.patch
Seemant, Well, I still believe the new version string is correct and as I stated in the mail I can't see another way to guarantee versioning correctly should a return to numbered releases happen. If I'm wrong, or there is a better way send it and swift kick this way please. Cheers Created attachment 90709 [details, diff]
ipkg-utils-suggest_fakeroot.patch
I'd also like you to commit the second patch, which contains a small
pkg_postinst() info chunk telling people to install and use fakeroot.
I feel it is very important, but not important enough to require an explicit
dep. I understand fully if you feel it shouldn't be in the ebuild, which is
why it is a separate patch.
sorry for the delay there, James. In portage now. Have a good holiday :) |
