what the summary says. it happens because the net.lo script is run before the one from mldonkey. changing "use net" in the init.d script from mldonkey to "use net net.lo" fixes this behaviour. i think it would also be a good idea to add reasonable retry and timeout values to those wget commands, because with the defaults it would wait as long as 15 hours before continueing :=)
