I am now running gentoo with gcc 4.1.1 and kde 3.5.4 and this is still an issue. On my current setup, i can now compile artsd with -esd and this works ok, but the moment if you uninstall esound (not needed by anything anymore right?) next time you start kde, artsd goes into an infinite loop of crashes, very annoying... simply re-emerging esound stops the crashes immidiately. Evan Teran Run revdep-rebuild and reopen if you still have problems after it's finished. |
