Description TomHinrichs 2006-06-26 08:02:07 UTC
I downloaded and burned my copy of Livecd_i686_installer_2006.0.iso within the last 60 days. Today is June 24th. I attempted a Stage 3 install yesterday and have my computer connected to the Internet via a linksys router and cox cable modem and all of that was working just fine.

The install was at item 235 of 311 and failed. It reported that it could not download php-4.3.2-fopen-url-secure.patch.

If you take some action to make that file available, I would appreciate hearing about it so that I can attempt the install again. Or if you have a suggestion as to how to get around this, I would appreciate your comments as I really do want to get Gentoo Linux installed.

Thank You,

Hayes Thomas Hinrichs

Sorry, there's nothing in the current tree using this patch, it's gone, together w/ dev-php/{php,mod_php}. Install dev-lang/php once your install is finished, meanwhile remove php from your use flags.
