With 0.2.7, beagle supports indexing chm files again. The ebuild, however, is missing chm in IUSE, even though it tests for the dependency for that USE flag:

IUSE="debug evo gtk ole pdf python"

Sorry, I assumed this was an oversight which is why I filed it as a minor bug rather than an enhancement.

yes i added the dependency but i forgot to add it to IUSE.
Thanks for the report it's fixed in cvs.
