Bug 137216 – nvidia-glx - extension "GLX" missing on display

When I merge the nvidia-glx module I get this when I try to run glxinfo.  I'm not sure why.  I tried downgrading to a lower version but no help.  I have tried nvidia-glx 8756 and 8762 and both give the same result.  I have the 6.8 xorg-x11 server.  I used to have the 7.0 and I tried to upgrade to 7.1 with no luck.  So i downgraded to 6.8 and that's when this missing module started showing up.  Might have something to do with it, I'm not sure.
