After USE=minimal install saw following cruft:

In ebuild:

chown: cannot access `/etc/openldap/slapd.conf': No such file or directory
chown: cannot access `/etc/openldap/slapd.conf.default': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access `/etc/openldap/slapd.conf': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access `/etc/openldap/slapd.conf.default': No such file or directo

It also creates following directories:
/var/run/openldap/
/var/lib/openldap-slurp/
/var/lib/openldap-data/
/var/lib/openldap-ldbm/

fixed in cvs.
/var/lib/openldap-data/ is kept for version tracking still.
