I don't know if you take the usefullness into considerations, when doing dependencies, but, I emerged xfce-base/xfce-mcs-manager, I can launch xfce-mcs-manager, but it does nothing at all.

furthermore.. I could not launch xfce-setting-show:

(xfce-setting-show:23095): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: 

then it exits


It took me some time to realize I can try emerging xfce-mcs-plugins, then I can use xfce-mcs-manager, and xfce-settings-show.

Am I missing something?

I'm sorry, but the summary doesn't make sense. What should depend on what? xfce-base/xfce-mcs-manager on itself???
