I'm using Leafpad for quite a time on amd64 and so far imho no version should be allowed into stable. On 0.8.7 opening a large (>80k, quite complex) html file resulted in a broken x-server with the following message on console:

*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x0000000000fcba20 ***

The error was reproduceable; I use standard cflags and a minimal set of use flags, running amd64 stable.
