RealVNC (net-misc/vnc-4.0-r1) has the following limitation.  When the local machine is using a Xinerama or MergedFB based dual-head display, the program /usr/bin/vncviewer does not detect the two separate displays.  When running in "Full Screen", vncviewer always spreads across both displays instead being able to do "Full Screen" on just one display.

I have modified the said patch by Jakob Kemi <jakob.kemi "at" telia.com> for VNC 4.0 , and tested it under Gentoo Linux on a PPC machine.

Please find a patch and new ebuild to optionally include said patch with "xinerama" USE flag.

Patch to include -XineramaScreen option to vncviewer executable

File should be placed at:
    net-misc/vnc/files/vnc-4.0/vnc-xinerama.patch
with the other VNC 4.0 patches.

if 4.1.2 doesnt work, please e-mail this patch to the vnc list rather than us
