I'd like to see this patches integrated in gentoo:
http://tango.freedesktop.org/Installation#Patches_to_KDE
perhaps using a tango USE flag...
perhaps before kde 3.5.3 becomes stable...

I hope that someday kde and gnome will default to the same icon set and theme.
With the inclusion in portage of klearlook kde theme, icons is the last piece missing to have a really consistent desktop on gentoo.
