This is fixed in svn r3502. This has been released in 2.1.1_pre1. |
Current behavior for PORT_LOGDIR logfiles is to have user and group IDs as root:portage; this behavior should be extended to the ELOGs saved to ${PORT_LOGDIR}/elog/ directory. Currently, all new logs are created as root:root.
