I have just built games-strategy/wesnoth-1.0.2 and found that it doesn't show up in my Gnome menu automatically like other programs do.

type this into a terminal: "killall gnome-panel"

Works fine for me.  Please reopen with the output from emerge --info and attach the file /var/db/pkg/games-strategy/wesnoth-1.0.2/CONTENTS as text/plain.

It showed up when I logged in next time. Apparently I submitted this bug report a little too early - I'm sorry for this. However, I am still I little confused as other programs showed up in the Gnome menu right away.
