Can you reproduce it, i.e. - does it fail again at *exactly* the same place? (In reply to comment #1) > Can you reproduce it, i.e. - does it fail again at *exactly* the same place? > To make a long story short, the swap wasn't enabled (I was temporarily running headless and didn't catch the error during boot), as such the kernel felt the need to go homicidal on gcc/cc1 when it consumed to much memory. Earlier I had recreated my swap partition and forgot to run mkswap. Sorry about the false alarm. |
