Error when trying to start a VNC server via 'vncserver' @ prompt. Not sure if this is TightVNC specific, or related to the make flags.

Sorry, this doesn't make sense. You get internal compiler error at _runtime_??? Try again and repost the errors you get, also post full emerge --info and exact tightvnc version.
