background: subclipse seems to need the javaHL from subversion 1.2.  masking subversion-1.3 does the trick but can cause this error.

Steps to recreate:
1) mask >=dev-util/subversion-1.2.99
2) set keywork to ~anything for atleast apr and apr-util and required libraries
3) emerge subversion

Error: (same error for apr-util if apr fixed)
checking APR version... 0.9.12
wanted regex is 0\.9\.[5-9] or 1\.
configure: error: invalid apr version found

workaround is to mask apr and apr-util 0.9.12

Well, so don't mix stable and ~arch packages.
