Description David Maus 2006-06-05 13:25:21 UTC
A bug in GnuCash 1.8.10 and 1.8.11 causes GnuCash to creash after entering the PIN for the HBCI key. I could not find the bug I gnucashs bugtracker but there was a message by one of the developers (Christian Stimming) in the german gnucash- mailinglist.

fix crash after enter HBCI PIN

Created an own patch with path to hbci-interface.c - this patch changes the lines in this file as the message to gnucash mailinglist suggests.

thanks David, I'll look at this for patching into gnucash. I wonder if 1.8.12 has the same issue (as I'd like to stable that in the next few days).
Comment 3 David Maus 2006-07-13 06:15:33 UTC
No, Gnucash 1.8.12 is not affected by this bug. Just 1.8.10 and 1.8.11
Comment 4 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-10 07:57:57 UTC
I'll be stabling 1.8.12 for the gtk1 folks out there, but this bug is fixed with 2.0.1 being stable anyway.
