One of my boxes runs a portage rsync service for the other local boxes; I couldn't find a way to tell the 2006.0 graphical installer to use that box for emerge --sync. I'm now on my second installation attempt, and I'm using Internet resources needlessly (I don't know how many attempts will be needed altogether :-)

Please add a field to allow miscellaneous make.conf entries to be made.

(I thought this would have been requested already, but I couldn't find an existing bug report - apologies if there is one but I missed it.)
