just to support the above comment, here's the working ebuild

mod_security-1.9.4.ebuild could be used nicely, if the MY_P variable gets a little tuning, due to source-file name change: MY_P="${P/mod_security-/modsecurity-apache_}" should be the now correct MY_P line for version 1.9.4: (only the "-" and "_") need adding to the present 1.9.2.ebuild...
