I'm building # equery l kdelibs [ Searching for package 'kdelibs' in all categories among: ] * installed packages [I--] [ ] kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.2-r6 (3.5) and use following USE flags: [ Searching for packages matching kdelibs... ] [ Colour Code : set unset ] [ Legend : Left column (U) - USE flags from make.conf ] [ : Right column (I) - USE flags packages was installed with ] [ Found these USE variables for kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.2-r6 ] U I - - acl : Adds support for Access Control Lists + + alsa : Adds support for media-libs/alsa-lib (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) + + arts : Adds support for aRts: the KDE sound daemon + + cups : Add support for CUPS (Common Unix Printing System) - - debug : Tells configure and the makefiles to build for debugging. Effects vary across packages, but generally it will at least add -g to CFLAGS. Remember to set FEATURES=nostrip too + + doc : Adds extra documentation (API, Javadoc, etc) + + jpeg2k : Support for JPEG 2000, a wavelet-based image compression format. + + kdeenablefinal : Makes kde ebuilds use the enable-final flag, yielding big compilation speedups at the cost of very heavy mem usage + + kdehiddenvisibility : Makes KDE symbols hidden by default, requires GCC 4.1 (experimental) - - kerberos : Adds kerberos support - - legacyssl : Support for some deprecated ciphers. Don't use this flag unless you really need it. + + openexr : Support for the OpenEXR graphics file format (www.openexr.com). + + spell : Adds dictionary support + + ssl : Adds support for Secure Socket Layer connections + + tiff : Adds support for the tiff image format + + xinerama : Add support for the xinerama X11 extension, which allows you to stretch your display across multiple monitors - - zeroconf : Support for DNS Service Discovery (DNS-SD). Emerging is finishing OK, but there is no apidox for KIO library and while emerging I was getting the following: **** Creating apidox in kio * * Found tag kdecore/kdecore.tag * Found tag kdefx/kdefx.tag * Found tag kjs/kjs.tag * Found tag dcop/dcop.tag * Found tag kdeui/kdeui.tag * Need to re-process kio for tag kio/kio * Need to re-process kio for tag kio/kfile /var/tmp/portage/kdelibs-3.5.2-r6/work/kdelibs-3.5.2/admin/doxygen.sh: line 504: 16845 Segmentation fault doxygen "$subdir/Doxyfile" * Post-processing files in kio/html grep: kio/html/index.html: No such file or directory And cresting documentation continue without KIO module Could be related to gcc 4.1, but it's difficult to tell. Did you switch to gcc-4.1 recently? you should try to recompile doxygen (which is crashing here) and the rest of the C++ applications on your system with it. It's not because of gcc-4.1 It was the same with gcc-3.3.6, and I can reproduce this bug on two different systems. (In reply to comment #3) > It was the same with gcc-3.3.6 Sorry, gcc-3.4.6 still actual with kdelibs-3.5.3 Well, you doxygen crashes for whatever reason, not really a kdelibs bug. |
