I have a request open with the OSL to create a xen instance for this (and any other SoC project that may need a server). I will let you know when I have it avaliable for you. Last I heard, they were working on adding another xen server to handle other SoC requests other projects were having. Sorry for the delay. Just a minor update- Asked for a status from the OSL and it sounded like it may be 2-3 days till they get the xen instance ready for us. I hope this doesn't curtail any of your development. 2-3 days is fine, I am happily developing on my local server. OSL's Xen instance is only for demonstration, deployment and version control purposes. (In reply to comment #3) > 2-3 days is fine, I am happily developing on my local server. I hope to get things setup for you in the next few days. Sorry for how long this has taken! Um, I've written a substantial amount of code now, it might be helpful to have atleast a VCS repository ASAP. Don't worry too much about the Xen instance, that can still wait. Sorry, I've been in training all week and haven't had much of a chance to work on this stuff. Did you ask for an SVN repo in bug #135104? If not, please do so there. I wasn't aware that you needed an SVN repo! I should have the xen instance done. I basically need to finalize a few things and get it done. I'm driving back to my place today, so I won't be online again till later tonight. You might check with your mentor on the access for SVN also. I need a dsa ssh key and a username. Have your mentor send it to me when you get that. Thanks. Oh, I wasn't aware of that bug at all, I was thinking of setting up the repository on the Xen instance itself. Anyway, I've made a request over there and will ask Christel to send my DSA-SSH key along (I had sent it to her a few weeks back). Thanks for everything, I am aware that we all have commitments, so you can take it easy on the Xen instance. Really, I'm in no hurry :) (In reply to comment #7) > Oh, I wasn't aware of that bug at all, I was thinking of setting up the > repository on the Xen instance itself. I got everything setup on the bug except I don't have your key yet. See my email I sent you directly. I'm still working on the xen instance. Its next on my list :-) (In reply to comment #0) > I would require some web space on a box with: > > * PHP 5.1+ (SOAP Compiled) > * Repodoc (pre-installed or adding permissions so that I can do it) I got it all installed for the most part. What package is repodoc a part of? > It would be great if the box were publicly accessible, since that would help a > lot in testing the repodoc web service. How about using guidexml.soc.gentoo.org ? All I need is your ssh key and I can get this finished for you :) We got this a while back. |
