It could be optional but it should be avaible, and may be interesting also for gentoo-sources

it is nothing directly connected, with software suspend, it is only an interesting feature which is aspecially interesting for this ebuild, because it is the mostly used kernel ebuild for notebooks. So it is nothing which should be altered on suspend-patches

As said, we don't patch our kernels (suspend2 or whatever else) with experimental patches. Get that accepted upstream.
