I am using ~x86 xorg-x11 and kde. After rsync and emerge -u world last week I found that kde does not show most of the strings for example in menus(see attachment menu.jpg). Mozilla renders parts of web pages correctly (gentoo.jpg) and when I scroll down the page, hide part of it and then scrooll it back - it's rendered correctly (gentoo2.jpg). Konsole does not show any text, but xterm works just fine. I don't know what info exactly is needed, but I can answer if You ask me.
