We can't do anything about servers not upgrading. Sorry. This happens on servers running 2.60b, as mentioned in the first post of the link I provided. I made an overlay and downgraded to version 2.60, which has a security issue though. That link is *not* from id Software, who says that everyone should update. Also, we don't put vulnerable packages back into the tree. As I said, there's not much that I can do about this, as I don't have control over what upstream does, and even less on what Punkbuster does. I'm not trying to argue with you and I'm sorry if I'm just wasting your time, but I don't understand how it can be labled stable, when it obviously doesn't work as client. because we refuse to serv up security vuln versions |
