Did you run etc-update or dispatch-conf after upgrading? If you did, you might also try to move /etc/udev out of the way and re-emerge udev to ensure that the configuration is sane. Hi, Yes, I did do that... I tried your suggestion, i.e., moving /etc/udev out of the way before emerging, but that did not work. However, telling etc-update not to replace the udev.conf and 50-udev.rules file seemed to do the trick. As such, it appears that these files (probably the latter) are the problems. Alex |
