Did you re-merge the nvidia drivers after downgrading? This is a must for the drivers to show up in that directory. I recall re-merging the drivers a few times, but just to be sure I could try upgrading and downgrading again, then re-emerging nvidia-glx? I'd rather not, but it'll only take some extra time, now that I know the temp fix. Nah, don't worry about it. I'm quite sure that would fix the problem. I'm quite sure that would fix the problem. > I'll mark this INVALID for now since the fix is currently user-side. well it broke xorg to me too, so I am working since june on Shitdowz :/ Upgraded to 7.0 stable, didnt worked some NVIDIA(0): WAIT problems so couldnt get 3d support to work, and then downgrade to 6.8.2 and the same thingy. Had reemerged drivers, unmerged all xorg packages. Still couldnt get it to work :/ I will post my logs in the evening, now I am at work |
