It might be a problem with gstreamer 0.10 but since ver 2.14.x of juicer ripping to mp3's no longer works.
My mp3 profile:audio/x-raw-int,rate=44100,channels=2 ! lame name=enc vbr=4 vbr-quality=0

This profile works perfectly with juicer 2.12.x but with juicer 2.14.x it creates files that are as big as the wav files. These files can also not be played at all.

any news one this ? It's still reproduced on sound juicer 2.16.x ?
