Of course, one would not want to do a real wildchar matching on the whole portage tree, but some sort of error message explaining the problem with load and thus possible DoS would be nice instead of just a blank screen

Naturally, i meant packages.gentoo.org.

I am typing packages.debian.org so often, i have real trouble writing gentoo instead. Sorry about that :/

we don't do searching on the new site presently.
But this will be dealt with later anyway.
