Description nicola giacobbe 2006-05-24 02:52:41 UTC
Hello,
I recently made my emerge --update world, and found that the package transcode won't compile/install because he was looking for the libdirectfb-0.9.so.22 library while on the system there was already the new libdirectfb-0.9.so.24.
I had to create a symbolic link to the latter and everything went fine.
I did make a: ln -s libdirectfb-0.9.so.24 libdirectfb-0.9.so.22 (promptly removed)

emerge --info:

Don't create symlinks, 100% broken solution.
