"emerge eclipse-cdt" fails because no "lndir" executable is found. It can be easily solved by emerging x11-misc/lndir, but lndir should be added as a dependency of eclipse-cdt or as a deeper dependency. The ebuild version is eclipse-cdt-2.0-r2.

eclipse-cdt removed from the tree. Please use the update manager in the future to install it.
