evolution fails to compile without howl libraries:

grep: /usr/lib/libhowl.la: No such file or directory
/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libhowl.la: No such file or directory

The same error is reported when attempting to compile nautilus also. Installing net-misc/howl or net-dns/avahi with howl-comapt flags satisfies these dependencies, however their are no dependencies on net-misc/howl or net-dns/avahi in any evolution, nautilus or the meta GNOME ebuilds.
