The corruption is probably related to bug #133647. About the recoding feature, it's not going to return at all, as upstream does not want it (as it's just a workaround). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 133647 *** ok, bug is duplicate and recoding in amarok just a workaround. But which equivalent do you want to implement instead of this workaround? May be you plan to include in Gentoo-disribution some shared-libs with recoding feature? (e.g. http://rusxmms.sourceforge.net/) |
