Bug 133564 – wacom.c in 2.6.16-gentoo-r7 reverses mouse wheel

After installing 2.6.16-gentoo-r7 the mouse wheel on my Intuos 3 graphics tablet was reversed. The previous kernel, 2.6.15-gentoo-r7, was fine. I was able to fix this problem by replacing wacom.c in the kernel source (/usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/input/wacom.c) with the one from the Linux Wacom project -- 0.7.4-1.

Is this reproducible on the latest development kernel? currently 2.6.17-rc4

I just installed 2.6.17-rc4 and the wacom mouse scroll wheel works fine. 

Note that this is being tested on a 4x5 Intuos 3 mouse (cursor device in xorg.conf) and can't confirm that it is affecting any other wacom tablet model.

Thanks for testing. Fixed in gentoo-sources-2.6.16-r8 (genpatches-2.6.16-10)
