Compilation fails for at least all wine from 0.9.8 to 0.9.13 with LDFLAGS="-nopie", didn't try earlier versions.
I succeded in compiling commenting out LDFLAGS in my make.conf.
I suppose the ebuild should handle this situation.

Don't add random stuff into LDFLAGS. LDFLAGS is unsupported anyway.
