//it hangs here for a while with cpu load 100%, then it just stays there, with a normal cpu load.

same problem here, also having -fomit-frame-pointer in my CFLAGS (gcc-4.1.0 glibc-2.4-r2)

I have the same problem here...and the USE=-kdeenablefinal does nocht fix the problem :(

My noatun just compiled.  Very strange.  Was definitely broken yesterday with the symptoms described.
