thanks for this. sorry it took so long for us to get around to it. 

i just tried it and although it looks like a nice small mixer, gnome already has a gnome-mixer that works quite well. i'm not inclined to put this into portage unless it matures or introduces some features that the gnome mixer doesn't have.
