libXt config.log
Hm. For some reason, /usr/lib/pkgconfig/x11.pc was missing. I now rebuilt libX11 and now I've got that file and am able to build libXt. Strange that the file was missing... For what it's worth this happened to me too. I took the world file from a different system and tried to emerge -auDvN `cat world` which failed exactly as you report. Perhaps there is some unspecified dependency somewhere. Not reopening or anything, just adding the comment that this is not a unique event. I had a similar error occur. In my case, this ended up being a circular dependency caused by having the USE flag "doc" set. This resulting in libxcb depending on doxygen, which in turn depends on on qt, working it way to depending on all of the X stuff being installed. When I removed the "doc" use flag, I was able to complete the build. |
