Bug 132428 – downtime for Georgia Tech mirror

The building housing the Georgia Tech mirror will be without power the day of May 13.  Can 128.61.127.9 be removed from rsync.us.gentoo.org temporarily?  I'll follow up to this bug when we're back online.

I shall remove the gatech mirror on the 12th at about 1900 UTC and wait for you to update this bug to add you back.

will be off the DNS for rsync.us.gentoo.org

Hi Neil,

I've removed rsync3.us.gentoo.org from our rotation until further notice. I've left your access to the master mirror intact so you can sync up as soon as you get back online :)

I see the mirror is up and syncing fine...okay to re-add to DNS?

I'm obviously back up from the power outage.  However, I've now been asked to move to a different address space.  So...

Can you update the rsyncd ACL's on masterdistfiles.gentoo.org and rsync1.us.gentoo.org to allow 128.61.111.12 rather than 128.61.127.12?

When I get updated again, rsync3.us.gentoo.org can come back as 128.61.111.9.

Done, ACLs now read as follows:

# rsync3.us     :: Neil Bright :: lxmirror/[e-mail]
128.61.111.9
# syncs from
128.61.111.12

Ok, all synced up again.

Can you add rsync3.us.gentoo.org back into DNS - preferably as a cname for gentoo.gtlib.gatech.edu, otherwise as an A record pointing to 128.61.111.9.

128.61.111.9 can also be added back into the rsync.us.gentoo.org rotation.
